About the Business:

David Williamson has a varied business background. After graduation from UC Berkeley's School of Business, he worked four years for Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) where he obtained his California CPA certification. From there he moved on to positions in private industry, primarily in the accounting division of medium to large companies where he served as a Controller, Director of Finance, and Vice President of Finance. He also worked in operations as a Vice President of Operations for AMR Global Logistics (a sister company to American Airlines), a company that provided distribution and warehousing services. To be closer to his California roots, David moved his family to Redding in 2000 where he helped run a property management company. In 2001, he moved into financial services as the Chief Operating Officer of Legacy Planning Group. In 2004 he opened his own CPA practice with the goal to provide excellent tax and accounting services. The focus of his tax practice is on individual (1040), S Corp (1120S), and Trust (1041) tax returns. David currently serves as the treasurer and an elder at Valley Christian Fellowship and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
